Colorado Rafting
NOTE: Adventure Center is closed for the winter season. We will re-open on April 1, 2012.
Gather your group of four or more and head to the Adventure Center for a bonding experience on the river with one of our unforgettable Colorado rafting trips! Work together through rapids to promote team or family unity, and enjoy meal times along the banks of the river. Levels of difficulty range from mild to wild. A half day Colorado river raft trip covers approximately six to ten river miles and can be customized as an easy float trip. Or choose to tackle Class III rapids along the Dolores with a more daring crew.
Gateway Canyons also offers unique overnight Colorado rafting trips. With your knowledgeable guide, launch your rafting excursion right from the resort. Your group will float north along the Dolores River over the border to Utah and finally end your trip on the outskirts of Moab, at the confluence of the Dolores and Colorado rivers. Camp setup and meals cooked in a Dutch oven over hot coals are provided by your multi-talented Gateway Canyons guide.

Colorado Kayaking
The Adventure Center offers daily Colorado kayaking trips using Tomcat inflatable “duckies,” as well as sit-on-top, hard-shell kayaks, perfect for every level of boater. Each trip begins with the fundamentals of paddling and river safety so that you feel at home in everything from a ripple to a rapid. We offer both single and tandem kayaks. Kayak trip lengths vary from a few hours to a few days.

Colorado Tubing
Nothing says “fun” on a Colorado vacation quite like grabbing an inner tube and hitting the creek for a daylong float. Available during the summer season (April-October) we can outfit you for a half or full day of Colorado tubing. And don’t forget to bring along some refreshments from the Outpost General Store – we’ve got tubes with coolers, too!
