Chris Cantwell Named As Chef De Cuisine To Gateway Canyons Resort

SEATTLE, Wash. – March 23, 2015 – Noble House Hotels & Resorts – a collection of luxury hotels and resorts – eagerly welcomes Chris Cantwell as Chef de Cuisine to Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa’s four on-property dining locations, including Entrada Restaurant, Paradox Grille, Kiva Café and the Cantina. In this role, Cantwell will utilize his wealth of knowledge, creativity and enthusiasm to oversee the resort’s culinary direction and operations and develop new menus to elevate its high-quality standards to new heights.

The chef comes to Gateway Canyons Resort from Veladora at Rancho Valencia, a Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond restaurant, where he served as Chef de Partie. Here he was responsible for gathering ingredients, managing and training new cooks, and overseeing all banquet events. Among his other accolades, Cantwell has previously served as Sous Chef at Spike Africa’s Fresh Fish Grill, Restaurant Chef at Eldorado Country Club, and Chef de Partie at Desert Sage Restaurant. Throughout his established history in the culinary industry, Cantwell has proven his ability to create extraordinary dishes, manage kitchens and staff, and exceed guest expectations.
